“Bear” is a 15 year old Percheron/Quarter horse gelding that’s as pretty as a picture! He stands 16.2 hands high, nearly the perfect height for any rider, he’s safe enough for nearly any rider too! This boy has more woah than go but will pick up the pace when asked. He is a trail master and will pony others, follow, ride in the middle, or lead in a group or he will gladly hack out alone without a fuss. This guy loads and travels great and does fabulous off the farm in new locations.... (read more) Bear stands for the farrier, stands tied, stands to be groomed, bathed, tacked, and loved on. He has exceptional ground manners and knows your space. He is in your pocket without being pushy and overly needy, but he will always eat up every bit of attention he gets! Bear has three relaxed and smooth gaits followed by nice breaks when asked to stop. He is safe around traffic and loud machinery and doesn’t mind a chaotic setting. Bear drives single and in teams, he goes down the road beautifully, stopping at all signs and walking on easily when asked. He is simple and easy enough to harness and hitch by yourself. He will stand all day waiting for his next cue!
Bear would make a wonderful addition to almost any family!
