“Dandy” is a 10 year old Friesian/Quarter horse gelding standing 16.1hh. Dandy is the horse almost everyone wants in their barn. He has great ground manners, stands tied, stands to be groomed, stands for farrier, stands to be tacked and mounted, and he loads great! He is good with the hose and doesn’t mind being bathed.
Under saddle, Dandy has three floating gaits and very good breaks. He is reliable and easy under saddle for almost anyone.... (read more) He moves around the ring nicely and will gladly hit the trails right after and take you safely down the trail. He will take the lead or follow. He crosses mud, bridges, water, roots, etc.
Dandy also drives! He is completely traffic safe and just as easy under harness as he is under saddle. He stops and waits patiently at lights and signs and walks on nicely when asked.
