AQHA gelding “WS Smooth Crusader” AKA Boon
5 yr old
Heavy built, shapey and all the color you could ask for. Heavy bone and a good solid hoof. Has grown up on a New Mexico ranch and has seen many miles of outside country. We have used him to gather and check cattle, has experience in rough rocky terrain. He does have time with professional trainer - Hector Uribe. Has been started roping the dummy. Has a decent handle, responsive to leg and seat, soft mouth.... (read more) He has a lot to give for someone to go on with, could make for a nice head or heel horse in the right hands.
Sound, solid, good young horse. Does best with a quiet confident rider. He is friendly and does like attention.
Stands for the farrier, loads and hauls well, stands tied, good to bathe-groom-etc. UTD teeth, shoeing and dewormer. He is registered as a bay roan and does have the brown undercoat however he is going more and more blue as he ages. Really a head turner.
