Homozygous Black (EE) own daughter of Diesel All Around out of a daughter of McCurdy's Roan Lightning that is in foal to our incredible young stallion, The Dark Side, for 2025. He is homozygous roan and the foal is guaranteed to be Blue Roan with great chances at being homozygous for black and/or roan!
Patti is 15.1 hands and the gentlest mare you will find. You can catch her anywhere in any size field and she's easy to do anything with.... (read more) She was not started under saddle only because we had too many geldings in training but she would be very easy to start under saddle. Once started under saddle she would also be eligible for McCurdy registration through their foundation registry process.
Her first foal was this year and he is a double homozygous (black and roan) knockout! She foaled out easily on her own in the pasture and was a great mama. The only reason she is available is because we have 2 young children and are downsizing our program quite a bit so that I will have more time to spend with them. This is a hard mare to part with and she is available to a great home only. Her 2025 foal is sure to be stunning! She is probably my least photogenic mare because she is so gentle it's hard to get her attention but I will be working on getting more photos next week... or come see her in person!
