Bear is a strikingly handsome sooty Buckskin Draft Cross Warmblood gelding who is 14 years old and stands 16.3hh. Bear has a friendly & curious personality that will melt your heart. He is always one of the first horses to come greet you in his field as he loves people & attention. Bear is your been there, done that, confidence-building husband horse. He is extremely laid back and likes to just go with the flow. Bear is well broke to ride for anyone wtc and has been ridden English, western, bareback and double.... (read more) This guy is just about as close to bombproof as you will find. He is super easy going and I have yet to see him spook or react negatively to any unexpected circumstance. Bear has been extensively road ridden, trail ridden & river ridden by total beginners. He is safe, safe, safe. Bear is a very uncomplicated ride, just kick to go & pull to stop. He’s extremely tolerant of the nervous or inexperienced rider flopping around on him. He loads like a champ and has been trailered out to several parks in southeastern Michigan for all day rides. He stands well tied, crosstied or picketed. He has been exposed to everything from deer, water, bridges, dogs, kayakers, traffic & bicyclists and he won’t bat an eye at any of it.
