“ Tesco” is a 4-year-old 16.3 hand draft cross mare. Her beautifully marked grey coat and sweet demeanor endear her to everyone she encounters. She is a great size to fit many different riders. She is well broke, knows how to use her body, and is gentle in every way. Tesco stands to be mounted, is not phased by tarps, the bullwhip, or any other obstacle we ask her to face. She has been ridden English, Western & bareback.... (read more) Tesco is quiet and enjoyable to ride; complete beginners have ridden her to advanced riders on the trails and in the arena. She spent all summer at a camp teaching young, timid kids how to ride, and we have also used her multiple times for our special needs lessons. She loves also the trails! Water, rocky terrain, steep hills, and bridges, nothing will bother this horse. Tesco will confidently ride down a busy road, unfazed by the surrounding traffic. She has an extremely smooth walk/trot/canter, knows her leads, and has an excellent whoa. Tesco is always eager to work and please her owner. She has a puppy dog personality and gets along with mares and geldings in the pasture. She stands for the vet, farrier, or just to be loved on and groomed. This girl is absolutely stunning. She has been hauled off the property many times and is the same on the property as she is off. She sells 100% sound with no vices. PPE is welcome at buyers expense.
