Legend is an absolutely incredible horse for his age and he has excelled in every aspect of the program. He has a stunningly beautiful dark golden coat after he shedded out and a flaxen mane and tail that we all love so much. He is as calm, gentle, and wonderfully sweet as you’ll ever find and he is absolutely dog gentle. He has all of the buttons that we expect from horses more than twice his age. He is practically unflappable and does as well in the arena as he does on trail.... (read more) He is as husband and kid safe as we ever see and he would do well for anyone including our greenest riders.
Legend is thick, calm and extremely easy going about whatever we throw his way and he has been exposed to weed whackers, chain saws, barking/snarling dogs, buffalo, cows, cars, trucks, donkeys, dirt bikes, quads, UTV’s, tractors, farm equipment, welding, jackhammering and everything you can imagine on trail. He has a nice slow trot, comfortable lope and an easy walk. He would be a phenomenal trail horse, great all around arena horse or do just about anything you can think of if you want a laid back mellow horse to do it.
Legend picks up both leads and rates his speed really nicely and is also happy to take you out on trail, either by himself or in a group. Legend would make a fantastic all around horse who we feel could be ridden and enjoyed by pretty much anyone. If you feel like Legend could be the unicorn you've been looking for please reach out to us - we think he's going to go really fast.
Legend has been pre-vet checked and is up to date on vaccines, teeth, worming, and farrier. No maintenance.
