Dixie is a 14 year old black sabino 15'2hh registered Tennessee Walking Horse with 100s of miles of experience on trail in several states.

Smooth and natural gait, this mare will cross creeks, swim in the lake, ride steep trails, and more. Safe around traffic, wildlife, dogs, and tractors. Trailer loads easily and backs out. Strong feet, she holds shoes for months. She's sweet and gentle for the vet, farrier, baths, etc. She ties well to a post, in crossties, or on tie-line.... (read more) She is mild in the pasture and has been pastured with other mares and with geldings. She keeps her weight well on pasture or hay. She is healthy and strong with no lameness issues.

Dixie has enough go to move out over long distances, but she is not flighty or spooky. She has a medium energy level and is used to covering ground, so she is not for the complete beginner or someone who prefers to walk slow.

This mare has produced a beautiful, healthy foal and is a great mother. Her pedigree has old lines: carbon, cash, pusher, ebony, etc.
