Fancy is an 2012 AQHA Palomino Mare standing 14.3 hands high. R U FANCY ENOUGH ; Is a show horse the whole family can enjoy.... (read more) She is Novice and Youth sutable. This is grandmas horse ; if grandma likes to show the ranch riding and or ranch horse shows! Fancy is finished at the walk, extended walk, trot, extended trot, lope, extended lope. Fancy spins, rolls back , side-passes, sliding stops, and lead changes both simple and flying. She will drag a log with ease and is willing and mindful for trail obstacles.
Fancy is easy to ride; light to leg and rein cues, it doesn't take much to get along with fancy. She is perfect for the youth rider who doesn't have much leg at all, or an adult rider who doesn't want to work in the saddle. Fancy is just as good on the ground and patient for grooming and saddling. Fancy loads and unloads with ease, bathes, clips, stands for vet and farrier.
Fancy was started as a Reiner and has been shown in the reining and ranch riding; she has been hauled and shown extensively as a rodeo queen mount. Ranch life and show commotion is no problem for fancy. She does not require regular riding, if left off for months Fancy maintains her training and willing nature under saddle. Fancy is an easy keeper and will stay fat and shiny on a regular maintenance feeding regimen.
She has been both stall and pasture kept. In the pasture Fancy is towards the top of the herd order, she will not let other horses push her around or take her feed. She enjoys turnout time and is sensible enough to stay out in pasture full time. During the show season when sliding plates do not allow for full time turn out, she adjusts nicely to barn life and stays quiet in the stall.
