They can live off of, be fat off of much less than other breeds. They have naturally hard, good feet. They hold up in the mountains, and rough country. They stay broke once they are broke. They are extremely kind and forgiving, they want to be by you. They love food and attention. The sire is one of the largest fjords I have ever seen. He is kind and curious, plays with all the foals. His dam was broke when she was younger, then used a bunch on a team. You can still jump on her and ride her away from the other horses after almost 10 years off.
