Darlene is a 13 year old, 15.1 hand Molly mule. She is the epitome of a perfect trail mule. No matter the trail or experience level of her rider, she will take care of her rider and get them home safely. Darlene will walk, jog, and lope nicely.... (read more) She has a wonderful, true neck rein like a horse. She moves off the leg, side passes, and backs up. On the trails, she crosses water nicely. She steps over logs, goes down banks and steep hills with grace, and handles narrow/technical trails with ease. Darlene rides out alone or in the group nicely. She is traffic safe as well as quiet riding around farm equipment. She is not the type of mule that is rattled or spooked easily. Rides well in a britchen. Darlene stands nicely for the farrier, easily picks up all 4 feet. She stand for bathing, and mounting. Loads easily. She does well in new places and is excellent on overnight camping trips.
