Cochise is a beautiful bay roan and white pinto gelding that absolutely anyone can ride. He has been used by kids and adults alike. He is very beginner friendly. He has been roped off of, head, and healing side, has doctored cattle and rode the fenceline, etc. We have been mainly using him for trail riding and giving lessons.

(read more) He also side passes very well, has a very smooth walk, trot, canter, and he will collect himself beautifully. Coaches has no problem carrying a flag, he will let you open/close gates off of him, has no problem walking across water, walking downstream, crossing bridges, riding through obstacles, walking through thick brush, walking over fallen trees, up/down/across deep ditches and ravines. Cochise will ride the same if ridden once a week, once a month, or once a year.
Cochise will stand cross tied to be saddled/bridled, stand still while being clipped, bathed, groomed, fly sprayed, picking his feet, and for the vet or farrier. He stands still for mounting (from the ground or a mounting block), he stands tied to the trailer or fence, and he loads and hauls very well. Cochise is very gentle and he is a big pet, has always been easy to catch, is kid and dog friendly, and gets along well with all of our other horses, mares, and geldings alike.
He will be a great prospect for; ranch rodeo, roping, trail riding, playdays, barrels, poles, goat tying, ranch sorting, team penning, little britches, drill team, parades, grand entry, trail horse competitions, polo, western pleasure, walk-trot, lead line, a lesson horse, English, or just a great all around family horse.
Cochise is a good looking flashy bay roan and white gelding, standing 14.2hh, with great conformations. He has a thick beautiful mane and a tail that almost touches the ground. He has a beautiful head and face with a kind eye, a good strong thick neck and shoulder, a nice wither, straight back, and a wide hip and chest.
He can take you on trail rides, and the kids to play days at night. He will put a smile on your face when you ride him!!! Cochise will be a great addition to your stable. He is safe, sound, sane, with no vices. Please no outside trades, deposits, or payment plans. First come, first serve.
