Pusher’s Cookie Jane is ready to hit the trails! She is a Versatility bred Tennessee Walking Horse mare. She comes from a 50 year old breeding program for disposition, versatility and family friendly horses.
Cookie’s dam is a TWHBEA Supreme Versatility Champion. Good Friday’s Cookieshine was a family favorite. At Good Friday’s Cookieshine’s breeder’s funeral, my late friend Ann Kuykendall, EVERYONE talked about “Cookie.... (read more) ” Good Friday’s Cookieshine was also ridden by late Senator Jim Inhofe in parades.
Cookie’s grandsire is also a TWHBEA Supreme Versatility Champion. Good Friday K competed in reining, barrels, rail classes and much more. He was also part of an all women, all TWH STALLION drill team! He and his son, also a stallion, were ridden together at public trail rides for years.
We think Cookie would make a wonderful trail, obstacle, NATRC, EXCA, etc partner. She is great with obstacles and doesn’t mind a lot of external hoopla- as you will see in the video. She also has a lot of really cool “buttons” such as a hands free parking brake, one touch side pass, spin, will come to you on about anything to mount, will climb up on objects, does teeter bridges, etc.
Cookie has a walk, flatwalk, saddle rack, and canter! I have ran barrels, poles, and flags on her, competed in obstacle, and trail rode her all in one day. She was the “versatility champion of the day” at our local Playday.
