Jude is a 10-year-old Quarter Horse gelding with a quiet, kind, and sensitive temperament. In August of 2016, Pegasus worked with Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department to rescue Jude from a situation of terrible neglect. Our inn was full, so Serenity Horse Haven agreed to accept him. In September 2017, Serenity closed its doors, and at that time, Pegasus brought Jude into our program. After he settled, we began training him under saddle. Due to some SI joint soreness, his training was delayed.... (read more) Once those issues resolved, he started going great! In 2022, he spent time at Rockin X Academy with Kit & Isaac Johnson's team. In the spring of 2024, Jude spent a few months with Jake Gelinas of Gelinas Horsemanship, and he's going great!

Jude has a tender nature and needs a confident, kind partner, because he will not do well with any amount of force. Jude will thrive with an advanced intermediate/experienced rider with a soft hand who has a heart for sensitive horses. Riding videos can be viewed here: visit our website
