“Maple” is a 10 year old Belgian/Morgan cross mare standing approximately 16.2 hands high.
This girl is a trail deluxe. She will cross anything and everything. She goes through mud, moving water, over bridges, will pop over logs, etc. Maple has more woah than go. She isn’t fancy broke and she doesn’t have hardly any arena experience but she is safe, sane, and reliable everywhere! She always gives her best and tries her heart out for her rider.... (read more) She will pick up all three gaits, but again, nothing fancy, she’s just a trail horse. She isn’t going to canter around the arena like a pro, but she will try. She is not spooky, that simply takes too much effort. She is a solid trail mount for nearly anyone if you want safe and straightforward! She will take the lead, ride in the middle, or ride in the back of the group or she will gladly go out alone. She is the same horse if she’s ridden daily or sits for a while.
