Elle is a very pretty 16/17 year old mare. She is a solid built mare that stands 14.3 hands tall. Safe to assume she is a Standardbred, though she is not tattooed. This is a very nice mare that is smart and fun to ride. She is also broke to drive, obviously we have not. Elle is a nice trail horse and the note that came with her said she was a kids trail horse (assume Amish) and I believe that... She is a little broker than most of the Standies we have had.... (read more) Crosses bridges, water, rides in the woods and on the road, she's not spooky, she leads or follows. A walk, trot type. Jess got her to lope once, but it took a lot of effort. Very easy to handle, easy to catch and nice to be around. Nothing bad to say about Elle and she won't be expensive.

We buy and sell horses and ponies. There are several of us who work with all the animals and evaluate them, figure out their personalities and quirks, and let's be honest, they all have them. We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
