5 Year Old Sorrel Gelding

Sailor is a 15.1 hh gelding, he's easy to catch, good with feet, loads good, and gets along with pretty much any horse I've put him with.

He rounds up nice and is soft, moves off leg, neck reins, has a decent spin and stops off your seat. You can get gates off him, he rides alone, gets a bit herd bound if you're with a group and split off but nothing unmanageable.

Sailor has been to a few ranch rodeos this summer, roped off of a little bit, hasn't dragged calves but have dragged a log and he's not phased by it.... (read more) He's carried a sponsor flag in a rodeo, has moved and gathered cows from pasture and sorted pairs off him, have flagged some colts off him, he's tracked the heel-o-matic, been to the mountains crosses the river no problem etc.

He would make a good ranch horse or even head horse with training. He has humped up with some time off therefore I'll only sell him to an experienced rider. He does best with consistent work and wants a job.
