I’ve had the privilege of being part of Boone's story from the very beginning. I personally put the first 8 months of training on him as a 3 year old and spent several months every year with Boone. His owner (Megan) bought Boone as a late 2 year old. She has put her heart and soul into him to make him the best riding partner anyone could ever ask for. The only reason this fabulous guy is being offered available is due to LIFE. We all know how life and career goals change. Megan wants someone else to enjoy him as much as she has.
When it comes to trail riding Boone the safest horse you will ever find in the woods. No bank is to steep and no body of water to deep. He will ride out alone or in big groups. One of Boone’s most favorite things is team roping. He is a finished head horse that has been to jackpots and US ropings all over east of the Mississippi. He scores like a rock and leaves the box flat and fast across the line. He puts you in position quickly to rope and is a powerhouse across the pen. You hardly feel the steer in tow with Boone. He has a snappy face that is sure to get a fast flag drop to shut off the clock. He travels like a dream on the road and stalls well away from home.
Boone is broke like one should be soft in the face and body. He can do anything you would ever ask a horse to do whether it's trail riding, jumping, western dressage, roping or ranch shows.
