Trail horse deluxe!
Apple Jack does all of the arena work, but is an absolute trail boss. He also loves foxhunting! Hes 14.1h and 9 years old. He will ride in the front or rear, or head out alone just you and him. He’s super quiet and chill. You could keep him in the pasture for weeks and he’d still be the same quiet horse. He also loves to swim! Will cross logs, water, and is traffic safe. He has been overnight camping. You can pony him or pony another horse from him.... (read more) I truly didn’t like trail riding until I had him. He’s a SAINT!
We’ve taken him to shows, he’s done pony rides at our church, he does low jumps, a little dressage, you can use him for leadline or lunge line to teach the little ones to trot or canter. When off the line in the arena he wants a rider with quiet hands and at least a little bit of confidence as he will “test” the kid and want to come to the center of the arena. If they can get him back to the rail he gives in pretty easily. While he does all of the arena work, I truly believe his favorite job of all is riding the trails.
I have videos. If you’d like more info let me know! Located in Danville, VA (right on the NC border).
