Superstitious Sue, AKA Dolly is a 2018, 16.1 hand TB mare. Don’t let her red color fool you…this girl may as well be a big Bay gelding w her super sweet personality and even keeled temperament.

Update to add; Dolly has been out and about quite a bite the last month and a half and has been an absolute ROCK STAR. Even helping one of my novice/intermediate students gain some confidence on the XC course. This mare is going to be an absolutely STELLAR horse for someone looking to compete in Eventing, Hunters, Dressage or even just looking to do a little bit of everything. Her pricing has changed a bit so please read the ad!
Dolly was purchased by a boarder to be a fun, lower level Dressage/Eventing, “do all the things” mount and she was just that for the past year. Her owner quickly recognized her exceptional potential and has decided she doesn’t want to waste that. Dolly would excel in the Hunter ring w three balanced gaits that she could maintain for hours at the same speed. She is also a calculated mover that works nicely off your seat and leg, has a soft mouth and enjoys having to think about what she’s doing…making her a great candidate for a Dressage partner. Dolly’s work over fences has been on the smaller side due to her owners lack of confidence but this girl has scope and power to get herself over the bigger, wider fences on the cross country course. Her owner knows she needs more of a confidence builder and while Dolly truly is a nice ride w a kind temperament, she could use someone w a bit more experience and confidence to bring her to her full potential. She has trail ridden but not extensively, she’s worked cattle and was absolutely spectacular, been to smaller local shows and used in Horsemanship and Roping clinics where she showed everyone just how sensible of a horse she truly is. Dolly is intelligent…she’s definitely a “one person” kind of horse but will still go around the ring for other riders. Her owner would really love to see her w a confident younger rider that wants to bring her talent to the top! Dolly is UTD on everything, good for vet/farrier, currently in four shoes due to Nh’s charming rocky terrain and does turn out very well w others. Loads and hauls just fine and bathes great as well. Easy to stall, doesn’t mind being outside 24/7 w a run in, stays behind a stall chain and electric fencing. Very, very easy to have in the barn for turning out, feeding, etc. One of the horses I don’t mind my almost 8 year old daughter being around or leading in/out. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an ear so much as twitch back w this girl…she’s been nothing but pleasant the entire time she’s been here and is definitely a barn favorite. $8500 bo to the most fitting home.
