Effie is just two, she’s in her gangly awkward stage and already channeling her inner Friesian. 50/50 with the athletic Easter Gentleman QH lines this girl oozes quality. She’s not going to be big but boy will she be fancy. I’m in no rush and have her booked in next spring for some basic starting. She’s not grained so her joints are growing as they should without being pushed.... (read more) She has free choice mineral and room to run. She knows how to cross water, climb hills, slide down in mud and move out. She’s good for the farrier and loves having her belly rubbed. Check out that tail… She’s not pushy and does not crowd you. Total clean slate with no issues. She’s Registered with FHH and microchipped. Good around dogs and cattle. She is not trained… has not been started, just handled.

Lazy K Ranch

We are a ranch in North Dakota that stands a FHANA registered 17h Dutch Friesian Stallion and a registered Grau Fjord Stallion. We only raise two or three foals a year which allows quality time with them. They are raised out in a pasture where they can run and grow and discover water, cattle, dogs, and learn to have their feet underneath them in all conditions. Good minds are our number one priority because our horses work and its a long walk home if your horse doesn't enjoy what we are doing. They need to be level headed and sure footed from day one.
