This little lady has been passed over several times, hard to believe she’s still here!! LET’S FIND HER A NEW HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!!

This young lady is Petunia. She is a 38” tall, white, Appaloosa pony mare with red dots on her hips and a red mane & tail. She is a super friendly little girl who is only 10 years old.

Petunia will come running (actually racing the other ponies) the minute she sees you.... (read more) She doesn’t have a mean bone in her little body either with a kid on her back or on the ground; NO buck, rear, kick, bite, strike or bolt & she doesn’t spook at anything.

Petunia has a little appaloosa attitude and can be a little on the lazy side so sometimes she is a little more whoa than go but will ride in or out of the riding ring. She stands quietly to be groomed, tacked and fly sprayed. I will say all of our ponies could probably benefit from a bit change but this is our first year with them and only have 1 type of bit at this time. She will also stand for your youngster to climb on and find their seat. My grandkids ride her but they aren’t very experienced and she gets lazy for them but she hasn’t done anything wrong. She has a great walk when she is moving and a nice whoa when asked. Petunia will follow right along if someone is leading her on a lead line. She has been exposed to bulldozers, tractors, semis, motorcycles, side by sides, ATVs, goats and kids running all thru their pasture and nothing seems to bother her.

Petunia does fine in the field and is, by far, nobody’s boss. She really is no bother in the field, gets along with everyone and does fine in a mixed herd and gets along well with mares, geldings & big horses. She has never done anything wrong for us and has NEVER tried to bite, kick or strike at anyone. Petunia will also willingly go in a stall and has good stall manners. Again, no bad stall habits; no stall weave, pawing or cribbing!

Petunia is UTD on her yearly vaccinations and was just dewormed on 07/15/24. She also picks up all 4 feet and does great for the farrier with no signs of founder.

Petunia is a sweet little soul and would be super nice as a childs lead line pony, for pony rides or even for the child looking for their first riding pony. $1️⃣3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. We are not interested in trades, leases or payment plans. Located in Benwood, WV. We do not provide shipping.
