Boujee AKA Miss Boujee or Boujee Girl is a gorgeous 14 year old, 15.1 hh, grade, copper penny colored chestnut mare who is built like a brick house. She has been one of our personal horses for quite a while now but it’s time for her to move along.

Boujee LOVES people and will be the first to come running when she sees you. She will stand quietly on cross ties to be groomed, tacked and fly sprayed. She takes a bit like nobody’s business and picks her feet up when asked.... (read more) She will also jump right on and off a trailer and will follow you right along if you are leading her. She has never been pushy or done anything wrong for us and has NEVER tried to bite, kick or strike at anyone.

As her name implies; she is very Boujee and is very, very well broke. She will stand for you to climb up on and find your seat. She 2-finger neck reins and works off of leg pressure; so much so that she can be ridden bridleless and just with leg pressure. She will pivot, side pass and you can open and close a gate on her. Boujee Girl willingly walks, trots and canters and has a great whoa. This girl will go wherever you point her and is very willing to try anything you ask. You just sit ack in the seat and tell her to back and she will back right up for ya. We have been riding Boujee in an O Ring Snaffle and she does awesome with it. NO buck, rear, kick, strike or bolt & she doesn’t seem to spook at anything.

She will work willingly inside or outside of the riding ring and LOVES to show off her talents. She will also trail ride wherever you ask her to go. She has been ridden on trails on our farm both with a group and alone and she is brave enough to lead the way. She has been exposed to bulldozers, tractors, semis, motorcycles, side by sides, ATVs, goats and kids running all thru their pasture and nothing seems to bother her.

In the field, Boujee Girl loves her people and will come running as soon as she sees you or you shake a grain bucket. She has been in the field with both mares and geldings but she is also the boss of the field and she keeps everyone else in line. She doesn’t mind being turned out in the field or will stand quietly in a stall with good stall manners. Again, no bad stall habits; no stall weave, pawing or cribbing!! She also does not require any special maintenance at this time.

Boujee is UTD on her yearly vaccinations and was last dewormed on 04/27/24. She came to me with 4 shoes on but we’ve had them removed and she fine barefoot. She also does well for the farrier and was last trimmed on 06/26/24.

Miss Boujee is a very special girl and we would love to see her go to a new home that wants to refresh her talents and showcase them. She is suitable for anyone who can sit in the saddle and knows how to ride a horse using leg pressure. $4500 OBO. We are not interested in trades, leases or payment plans. Located in Benwood, WV.
