Teddy is as sweet and as kind as they come. He is a 7 year old bay Quarter Horse gelding with a kind eye and an old soul. He stands a stocky 15.1hh and absolutely loves people and attention. He is a social butterfly, always the first to greet you and curiously follow you around his pasture. Teddy is well broke to ride walk, trot, canter and has been ridden English, western & bareback. Undersaddle he is super laid back and easy going. He has a delightful jog you can enjoy all day and he will easily pick up both canter leads.... (read more) Teddy has been extensively trail ridden, road ridden & river ridden by riders of all experience levels. Despite his age, he has proven to be an excellent confidence building, push-button horse for nervous riders of all ages. He has been exposed to things like loud traffic, motorcycles, bicyclists, barking dogs, deer, water etc and always keeps his cool when unexpected things arise. He would be the perfect addition to a therapeutic riding program, the ideal husband horse to mosey around the property or he would be great for small grandchildren just learning the ropes of riding given his gentle disposition.
