Marty, a handsome rising 3-year-old Mammoth donkey gelding, is ready to meet you. He currently stands 14 hands tall, making him the perfect size for whichever direction you’d like to take him.

- **Unmatched Friendliness:** This guy catches you!... (read more) He's easy to catch, enjoys human company, and adores being pampered. Grooming time is his favorite, and he’ll stand patiently as long as you’re willing to keep brushing. He likes ear rubs, and he’ll lean in for a hug for as long as you let him.

- **Solid Basics:** He leads and ties, (straight or cross ties), stands for the farrier, has been hauled and is quickly getting used to baths. He’s been introduced to wearing a saddle and bridle, setting him up as an excellent prospect for riding or driving.

- **Trail-Experience:** We’ve been walking the trails together, and he takes new things in stride and is a calm, steady partner. He’s quickly getting used to cyclists and other people, and he’s done very well walking across the bridges we’ve seen so far. With his laid-back nature, he’s a joy to walk with. He walks out at a nice, forward pace.

- **Training Underway:** We're starting to explore lunging and other ground work, including some obstacles. His easy-going attitude makes him a pleasure to teach. As long as you take the time to make sure he understands what you're asking, he'll try for you. As we continue our trail adventures, he’s gaining more exposure and confidence every day.
