MEET WILLOW, an 8 yo. all around, sound mare who checks all the boxes? Willow is a STUNNING PALOMINO, who dapples up beautifully in the spring when she sheds her winter coat. She stands 15.1 and weighs approximately 1000 lbs. From the first ride, Arizona Western/Ranch horse trainer, Roberto Estrada (American Ranch-Prescott, AZ) said "she was bred for western riding and ranch work". She will require a tune up since all I ever did was trail ride, but I know it's in her so the possibilities are endless.... (read more) She's great with kids, all three of my daughters from 8-15 have been on, under, and around her with no kick or bite. She loves affection and you will never have to “catch” her in the pasture for a ride - she will greet you at any gate and loves getting off the property for a trail ride, alone or with other horses - not barn or buddy sour AT ALL. Nothing spooks this girl either, 4-wheelers, riding lawn mowers, large delivery trucks - she's seen it all.
She stands to be mounted/dismounted, ties, clips and thinks bath time is nap time. Wonderful for the farrier and has natural strong bare feet and UTD on all shots. Anyone can ride her, HOWEVER the inexperienced rider is better off in an arena or round pen as she can be very "pushy" if she thinks she can get away with it. She likes to test riders to see what she can get away with, but this girl is SMART and willing; under the right leadership she could do ANYTHING. Selling as grade. Located in White, Georgia (North of Atlanta) and cannot transport. MUST meet her to appreciate what a deal this is. ONLY selling due to an impending divorce, so not happy about having to sell her - so low-ball offers will not be entertained. Will send more photos and videos upon request.
