This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY BUCKSKIN KENTUCKY MOUNTAIN MARE that is very broke. This mare has been used for ranching and has a nice handle to her. She will neck rein, slide stop, back up, and move off of leg cues. She is extra smooth, has a super easy to sit canter, and she will go anywhere you point her with no argument. She has been used to check, sort, and load out cattle. She is 14 hands tall and 14 years old and has been there and done that.... (read more) She is traffic safe, will cross any depth of water, and she is extra sure footed on rough rocky terrain. She takes her time down steep embankments and is cautious. She will not go any faster than asked of her and she stops easily on whoa. This mare is a fun ride with color, brains, ability, and sense with lots of real life ranching experience.
