Here's Jaxson....he is another one that has been on the back burner here, we were letting him put on some weight.
He's a stout boy, 14.3 hands tall and 17 years old. A nice bay crossbred type gelding.
Very gentle! VERY! He is friendly, easy to get along with, easy to catch, tack up, stands tied, all the things he should. He had not been ridden for months and rides off just as he should! (and he has been eating well) He stands for the mounting block, walks off quietly, goes where you point him.... (read more) He will walk, jog and lope if he must....he is not going to win a race, so keep that in mind. He is happy to walk along!
Jaxson is not spooky, not over reactive, rides out alone fine for us and is great with another horse. We feel he could be a great confidence builder!
He came with another mare, she was sold back in the spring, both horses were family type horses.

We buy and sell horses and ponies. There are several of us who work with all the animals and evaluate them, figure out their personalities and quirks, and let's be honest, they all have them. We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
