Stinger is a 20 year old, 16H, branded ex barrel racing horse from Idaho. He does not look nor act 20! He came into rescue 10 years ago and unfortunately the rescue was shut down. Since then he has had a very cushy life completing a bi-annual ride and being a pasture ornament. I acquired him 2 years ago and have been working on some quirks that he has as it seems he had been blown up from the pattern. I am pregnant now and I cannot continue to keep him honest though he has come a long way.... (read more) He would do best in a home with someone experienced that can work through his occasional tantrum. He does cross water, has completed obstacle courses, is used to trains, cars and heavy machinery, has been in a mixed herd, has overnight camped, is used to being around goats and cattle and requires no maintenance. And he is absolutely stunning in person. I have no doubt that someone could turn this horse back into a performance horse or solid trail mount with a firm hand and some consistency. He just doesn’t have that here as again I am pregnant and am riding more dependable mounts. Price is OBO. Please message with questions.
