Meet Sailor, a five year-old chestnut AQHA mare. Fresh off of 6 months of training at Kendal Page Performance Horses. She has had extensive ground work, including desensitizing, buffalo, cattle. Sailor is a fireey mount and is a great roping or sorting prospect for an advanced/experienced rider. She does have a stubborn streak but with patience she will do anything you ask. Not only does she have a huge heart, she's an absolute looker! She displays beautiful movement, and has a natural athletic ability.... (read more) Sailor is sound with no health issues. I have also had the opportunity to ride her multiple times in a bitless bridle or halter with no issues. Also, she loads and trailers like a pro including being very well behaved for the farrier. Her transitions will continue to improve with more experience but has a solid woah. As well as willingly moving off legs in either direction with an explosive canter. Has been ridden in Western. Sailor can be slightly spooky in new environments or situations but settles down quickly, nothing dangerous. She can be a hot horse but as she continues to be exposed to new things, nothing seems to phase her. Sailor fine with anything from quads to dogs.
