STOP & CHECK IN! You’re not going to want to miss this guy! He both Rides & Drives and safe for both! Revere is his name he’s a 10 yr old Friesian Morgan cross gelding that stands at 15.... (read more) 2 hands tall and he is nice and chunky. He’s a very comfortable ride for someone short like me, but he’s big enough to carry a taller rider too so he’s the best of both worlds. He has that nice thick build and looks from the Friesian, but he has the brains from the Morgan very smart and personable. He’s an easy horse to get along with.

For driving he’s excellent stands still for hitching, harnessing, stop signs, and getting on/off the cart. He’s easy to control on the lines backs right up and can make those tight turns. He can do an extended trot or more of a medium leisurely gait he’ll also pop right into a canter if you so desire. He knows the words whoa, walk on, trot, and easy. Responds to a click or a kiss too.

Great with traffic doesn’t care a bit about the trucks, cars, motorcycles, and he’s even seen boats going down river! For riding he’s a comfortable ride has a smooth trot and a very smooth canter. He leaves home alone just fine and will separate out on the trail. He is part fish loves to get in the water and play so he’ll cross any creek or river. He’s also fine going over the bridges as you can see he’s been over several big and small bridges. Nothing really phases him he’s NOT easily spooked.

He’s had wildlife jump out and birds fly right up by his feet and none of that bothers him. Stands still for mounting/dismounting, good for getting tacked up, and the farrier will love him he’s a perfect gentleman for his feet. Loads right up in a trailer and backs right out and hauls quietly. Easy to catch and gets along out in the herd. Low to middle of the pecking order. NO bad habits, vices, or maintenance required he’s an easy keeper on just grass.

He’s at that perfect age where he’s over all the young and dumb stuff, but still young enough to have plenty of life left in him and go many more years. He’s a fun horse to have around and he’s safe as he has never offered to do anything real crazy. Knows how to move off of the leg and take his cues. He’s up to date on shots, wormings, Coggins, vet, and Ferrier.
