This particularly handsome youngster is straightforward, rideable, curious, and just so open minded. If you’re looking for a really fun hunter prospect with very cool coloring, this is your guy, but he could go in about any direction.

On the ground he handles politely, is light on the halter, and generally easy to be around.... (read more) Barefoot, normal to easy keeper, and an innocent heart.

Under saddle he is light to the aids with a good seat connection, he readily follows a feel, is always thinking of the rider and is very much on the aids, has very nice simple lead changes (easy to shift his balance and bend into the new direction while still cantering), and he’s naturally quite balanced. Three comfortable and balanced gaits, and he’s happy to ride around on a soft long rein all day.

He is started over fences and quite enjoys the job. Water, liverpools, tarps, English tack, western tack, arena, mirrors, grass jump fields, torrential downpours, Paddy is always the same guy.

Has not shown yet, but been off property for many trail rides. He will not need prep at shows.

Happily goes in English or western tack. Hunter type but well rounded enough to go in any direction. His coloring is really something special!
