7yr old, 15.2 hand grey Thoroughbred mare for sale. ‘Mouse’ loves any activity involving other horses for company, with her favorite so far being Foxhunting. She has hunted 2nd flight with Rombout and Millbrook hunts and is like having a dirtbike out in the countryside- she is super catlike with her footwork, has the speed to handle the fastest days and the stamina to go all day. She stands like a rock at checks. She is the type of hunt horse you could hunt, leave for a week, and ride her the next time at the next meet and life is good.... (read more) She is a very talented jumper but is less comfortable trying to go into a show ring alone, she is happy to jump in company. She has done 4 hunter paces and is a delight on those as well. She is an easy keeper to feed and only requires front shoes to feel comfortable in hard work. She is not mareish and is currently turned out with geldings.
Reason for selling is that I do not have the time and funds to be foxhunting, and she’d be happier having a consistent job versus me playing with her every once in a while.

She also could be used as a broodmare, for thoroughbred racing or any other type of breeding. Her jockey club name is ‘Hit the Nail’.
