Trigger is an 18-20yo (vet aged) 14.3h grade palomino paint gelding. UTD on vaccines and on a regular trim schedule. Teeth done in 2023.
He’s a great trail horse and has been ridden by every level of rider - best suited for at least a confident beginner since he hasn't been ridden very often the last couple years. Will lead or follow on the trail, stands patiently to mount and won’t walk off until asked!
He’s smart and not a dead head type of ride, he thinks through things and isn't spooky.... (read more) He was previously a lesson and lease horse at his last home where he was boarded. Was shown in 4h several years ago and would still make a great 4h horse now! First to meet you at the gate. Easy to catch. Near the top of the pecking order. Stands for fly spray. Stands well for the farrier. We hauled him to Potato Creek last spring for the first time after giving him the winter off and he did really well. I'd expect him to be a bit buddy sour since he hasn't been taken away from his friends in a while. Loads great most of the time. Requires some maintenance. Please pm me for more information!
