You may not see another horse like Balou again at this auction
Baloo is a one-owner horse from birth.
Baloo was selectively bred to be a competitive sport pony for dressage and jumping, but he outgrew his pony size.... (read more)
He proudly wears the Westphalian brand, an honor he had to qualify for.
Born to be a cowboy, Baloo is a western horse with a touch of old-world elegance.
He LOVES farm life.
LOVES the trails.
LOVES the goat herding.
LOVES the cow sorting.
Farm life suits him. “Shoulda been a Cowboy!”
Reason for sale: He should have a western riding partner.
He has the best foundation for any discipline you specialize in.
He was started and developed by a Grand Prix USDF Gold Medalist.
He is the perfect age to mold to your discipline.
If you want to compete, Baloo’s highest and best use would be in Western Dressage. He would certainly add a splash of class to your performance.
Would he do well in a stable? YES.
But he still needs a partner and a job suited to him.
More details and things that are not on the video:
Not a deadhead
Has stamina
No Vices
Sound of mind and body
Gets along with others. Currently lives in a herd of 10
Good for Farrier.
Not afraid of noises or traffic or things that move.
Shot a gun on him while mounted
drags things
traffic is not a problem,
backs in hand and from the saddle.
Stands tied at trailer and crossties. ***Can get bored and untie himself *** Balou wants a human partner. He follows us all over. He leaves the herd to be with us. He has never had a “bad human day.”
Bottom line: Baloo will do anything you ask of him. He adapts and obeys. He is a good learner and is uncomplicated.
NOTE: We did not “practice” anything you saw in the video.
Could he be your next partner? Your perfect match?
