Franny is a super sweet, smart and trainable, 3 year old filly. She is currently 14.1 hands and will grow a bit yet. She is great for the farrier and ties well. She was started last fall by a friend of mine and they used her during calving season. She really stepped up and did a great job. So I bought her early spring as a project for Ranch Versatility competitions. True to form, I bit off way more than I can chew and ended up missing most of the competitions due to riding client horses and showing in the English realm.... (read more) I finally have come to terms with the fact that I will not be doing much in a western saddle in the forseeable future and someone needs to take this young lady and finish her out. I truly believe in her and even took her to a few mounted shooting events to get her exposure to gun fire in the hopes that I would shoot off her one day too. Due to my insane schedule this season I have not sat back on this filly since the end of May. Even though she has had a real job, and has a great disposition she still needs training and she still needs someone with experience. I'd just like to see if I can recoup the investment and help her find a new home that will help her reach her full potential. Here is a video link from calving season.
