Harley is a super sweet 8 year old 14.3 hand Quarter Horse Gelding. He is very friendly on the ground, easy to catch and will meet you at the gate.
Harley will lead, load, and stand tied quietly. He is easy to lunge and stands to be saddled. He will open his mouth for a bit and rides in a simple snaffle.
Harley is a very sweet and easy boy to ride, but is not for beginners or children. He will easily walk and trot, but needs a little encouragement to canter.... (read more) He will back and side pass.
He has also been ground driven and done very well with that. I have not hooked him to a cart.
Riding outside of the arena, Harley has been known to spook occasionally. He needs a solid, patient person that he can trust to work him through his nervousness. He does not buck or rear and has never acted mean. He has a few quirks, but is a super sweet boy who will be a wonderful mount for the perfect person who's willing to put a little work in him.
He is up to date on shots and coggins and is good for the vet and farrier. He will have new front shoes on before he goes to his new home. He does have one small vice that will be discussed with interested parties.
