Here he is!! Black Velvet (CBF's Amigo with Benefits), is a Registered Rocky Mountain Horse gelding, who just turned 8 years old in July. He is 15.2hh. With great bloodlines he has all the looks and gaits! He's still figuring out his new job, as Black Velvet came from the mountains of Kentucky 3 months ago and he's doing great! His gaits are soooo smooth and come so natural to him. Plus he has a friendly, sound mind.

He has great ground work, trailer loading, good for farrier and bathing, cross ties, single ties, ground ties and he does obstacles.... (read more) He uses a mounting block well. He'll go up steep hils, through streams, ponds and thick brush. Black Velvet is well on his way to being an amazing trail horse. He's green broke, finish him as you'd like.

He has been under saddle 90 days. He camps and trail rides with others. He'll lead or follow. His ideal owner would be a confident intermediate rider that will put time in the saddle.

Current on Coggins and vaccines, including rabies July 2024.
