We are pleased to offer Sonic, an impressive 11-year-old, 14.1-hand Missouri Foxtrotting gelding, for your consideration. Sonic is incredibly athletic and sure-footed on varied terrain making him a fantastic trail companion, free from stumbles or trips. Sonic is always ready for an adventure, whether you’re exploring scenic trails or navigating more challenging routes.
With years of trail riding experience in the rugged Ozark Mountains, Sonic is adept at crossing water, navigating ditches, logs, and even bushwhacking through the wilderness with no shy or spook. He has been extensively hauled, providing his rider with countless camping and riding experiences without a hitch.
Sonic has a competitive spirit that adds excitement to every ride. He performs best when riding out alone or in small groups. Larger groups can raise his excitement level, and even though he is so tolerant of children on the ground and around the barn, he is not recommended as a child’s or beginning rider’s horse.
Sonic enjoys taking the lead on the trail but is equally comfortable riding in the middle or back.
On the ground, Sonic is a total sweetheart. He loves people and craves attention, making him a joy to handle and be around. He is the first to the gate to greet you in the morning, will come when called, and is easy to catch. His personable and affectionate nature means he’s always eager to be part of the action and the center of attention. He loads easily, is good for clipping, grooming, bathing, fly spray, saddling, and bridling, and stands mannerly for the farrier. He will high-tie, high-line, and high-stake out. He is so easy and kind on overnight camp trips, making it a pleasure to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
Sonic thrives on exercise and appreciates a rider who can engage his energetic nature. He is current on Coggins, farrier care, dental work, and worming.
If you’re a more experienced rider looking for an athletic, out-front trail partner, Sonic is ready to embark on new adventures with you.
Don’t miss the chance to own this personable horse.
