Cletus is a 14 hand, 13 year old John mule. Cletus is quiet, safe, gentle and stays that way even with time off. He is excellent on the trails. He will ride out alone or with a group. He will also easily leave the group if you want. His favorite gaits are walk and trot, but he will lope as well.... (read more) He rides one handed. Cletus will cross all natural obstacles with ease. Cletus is traffic safe. He has been ridden down the road and in town with no issues. He has had all levels of riders on him and he does well with all. He enjoys doing obstacles in the arena. He also takes excellent care of the littles. Our year old has ridden him independently in the arena. Cletus is very patient as he is learning to steer, stop, back, and go over obstacles. He stands well for grooming and to tack up. He has a friendly personality. He gets along well in the pasture with others and travels well.
