DOCS SMART JAX - a.k.a - "FISHBONE" is a flashy 2021 gelding that is easy to be around and easy to ride. He has a strong ranch pleasure foundation and is ready to take in any direction. Fish is flashy as it is, but really turns heads with his floaty movement and naturally soft self-carriage. W/T/C are easy to transition through, spins and stops are correct and building momentum with continued training, and he is naturally confident and intelligent.... Fish has a unique bald face that cuts through only half of his right eye, giving that eye a striking blue stripe.

Fish has been in the sorting pen and is cow-ey, however, does not seem to be very competitive in this space. Has tracked dummies and live cattle and has had a rope thrown off of him but has not had any professional roping training.

Loads, ties, crossties, bathes, stands for farrier. No buck, bite, rear, or any other unwanted behavior under saddle or on the ground. UTD on coggins and vaccines. Barefoot all around. Fish has recall and will run to the gate when you call his name. Stalls well. Friendly and easily assimilates to a herd but is really playful and loves to have a buddy that can keep up shenanigans in pasture. Easy keeper. Been around kids, dogs, gunshots, and general human craziness and while we will never use the term "bomb-proof", there is really not a whole lot that phases him. Always sound and has been started slowly to provide him a safe foundation while he continues to grow.

He is a gentleman and an overall joy to have in any environment. Ride him English or Western.
