Star is a beautiful bay Quarter Horse mare who is 15 years old and stands a stout 15hh. She is a super sweet mare on the ground and undersaddle. She has lovely ground manners, she’s a piece of cake to catch and stands great to be groomed, saddled & mounted. Star is very well broke to ride walk, trot, canter and has been ridden and shown English, western & bareback. She is an extremely willing and versatile horse. She has excellent breaks and knows both leads. Overall she is an extremely level headed horse with steady, well-balanced gaits. Her jog is as smooth as glass and she would make the perfect lesson horse for any riding academy or family just purchasing their first horse. Star has a very gentle disposition and she has proven to be very tolerant of the beginner rider. She has been extensively trail ridden, road ridden and river ridden. Out on the trails she is confident and brave. She will happily lead or follow a group of horses. Star has no problem riding out alone and trailers like a dream.
