Ikes Sweet Quake MPH,
aka “Ginger”, is a 2020 registered Appaloosa mare, started at the University of Findlay in the fall of 2023. She has been back in consistent training since the end of May. Selling as a project horse that can really go in any direction. Seems to be very “cowy” and can be quick on her feet. Ginger may not be finished in her training, but she is safe.... (read more) No rear, buck, bolt. No vices. Up to date on all vaccines, teeth, and wormer.
Has been being trail ridden all summer; goes through water, over bridges, and through obstacles;
has been ridden English. Started in showmanship; lots of stop and could excel in the discipline Reining. Quiet on the ground; very good for the farrier.

Ginger is being sold as a PROJECT horse so therefore, I would not recommend her for a beginner, but there is no doubt she could be ridden by one in the future. She is currently barefoot, but will be getting front shoes on next shoeing, since I think it will benefit her while trail riding. Ginger is here on consignment. Pre-purchase exam can be done at buyers expense and shipping can be arranged to anywhere, at buyers expense.

Hawk Farms

Hawk Farms is a developing Equine Skill Development Facility. We are currently assembling a 21 acre equine obstacle course for introducing in a controlled environment, as many things as possible too our 4-H and other riders typically encounter in an uncontrolled trail environment. This season we are expanding our facility to include railroad crossing gates, obstacles and lights, to address the rails to trails systems....
