Kookie has one eye that is half blue which stands in stark contrast to his rich brown coat. He started life a bit apprehensive of humans, and his mommy was a very, very protective first-time mommy (and “good for her” as a maiden mare!). He’s been a momma’s boy, but I have worked my way into his heart with the power of butt scratches. He now is a friendly little buddy, but he still does not ever stray too far from his mommy. He might possibly take just a bit longer to wean to avoid a lot of separation anxiety. Kookie has a beautifully bubbled round rear backside that shows that he will very much take after his sire heavily someday. His H2 gene from his sire means that this little guy will also be about his sire’s size at 13.2hh when fully grown. I am fully expecting that Kookie will be a non-Dun version of his sire someday. Will have all age-appropriate training. Will lead, tie, bathe, stand for the farrier, and load. Will also be up to date on all care (farrier, deworming, vaccination).
