Annie is 15hh quarter horse mare that is approximately 15 years old. She is the safest, most easy going horse you’ll find. I’ve been using her for beginner riding lessons and trail rides for about a year now. She is extremely broke and safe for absolutely anyone. She has lots of buttons: neck reins, moves off leg pressure, lopes off easily on both leads, and stops on woah. Her jog and lope is very smooth, slow, comfortable and easy to sit.... (read more) On the trail she will lead or follow, cross anything you ask her to, and isn’t spooky at all. In the ground she has great manners and is very easy to handle. Annie really doesn’t have any vices and is very easy going. She is easy to catch, does well in a stall or pasture, likes baths, is good with her feet, stands tied well, loads easy, and stands still to be saddled and mounted. She is very sweet and has a great personality. With all that being said- she does have a floppy lip (it just hangs all the time), and she will trip some when going faster in deeper sand. She is sound and doesn’t trip on the trail, I just wanted to make it known. If you’re looking for something SAFE that you can trust to take care of you or a kid, she’s the one.
