Bay Leopard Studcolt. Born May 2024. Will have ApHC papers. Sire is our Stallion: DSK Son OfA Gun. His lines include: YOR White Hot, YOR High Noon, High Sign Nugget, Goer. Very gentle Stallion and his first foal crop last year were just like their Sire. Dam is a Foundation Appaloosa Mare: CTR Polaris Vesta. She is another favorite of mine, her foals are all easy to handle and a couple of her colts are Stallion Prospects.

We operate a cattle ranch in North Central South Dakota.... (read more) All our foals are raised along side the cow herd. Foals will be weaned in the Fall and available for pick up in October. Exact time frame determined closer to weaning. Foals will be started on halter training before leaving—standing tied and starting to lead.

Thorstenson Ranch

We operate a family cattle ranch in North Central South Dakota. Along side the cow herd we also raise Quarter Horses (AQHA) and Appaloosas (ApHC). All our horses are raised out on pastures with rolling hills and creeks and are well socialized among the horse herd. We strive to raise quality prospects--both Quarter Horses and Appaloosas for the Ranch, Pleasure, & Performance.
