Hippo is a super sweet and quiet mare. She is an easy keeper/barefoot. She has a dressage/natural horsemanship foundation and lightly started over small crossrails. She can ride in dressage, jumping, or western tack with no preference. She is the same horse if you ride her regularly or take a month off. She would be successful for a confident and calm intermediate rider who is comfortable at the walk/trot/canter, less experienced riders considered if in the lesson program.... (read more) Hippo rides off of seat and leg, so too much hands and she will be confused and frustrated. Her favorite gait is the halt, but can be forward when asked.

As I am entering an exciting new chapter in my life, my time for Hippo will be limited and I would like to see her have a partnership with another. She is a relationship girl and would love someone to continue with her.

Hippo lives out 24/7 with a shed. Easy care, some one feeds, just need to have it preset for them. Maintain hay stock (avail on site) and water, pick field and shed regularly.
Trails on site, indoor and outdoor arenas for year round riding.
Price is an estimate to cover monthly expenses (board, hay, grain, farrier, etc.)
