Meet Grady, he is a 9 year old, flea bit , gray and white paint Missouri fox trotter. He is a gelding and stands at 14.2 hands tall. Grady is calm, gentle, and easy to handle. He likes attention, stands tied, saddles, bridles, picks up feet, and loads and trailers well. Grady is smooth as a Cadillac and has power steering, good breaks, don`t use any gas, and not too much hay!! He`s an easy keeper. Grady is a pleasure to trail ride. He backs up, turns, handles nicely, and rides off good alone or with other horses.... (read more) He crosses water, logs, ditches, is traffic safe and has went everywhere I have asked him too. It doesn't take much to make him go he has a fairly smooth lope if you get him into it. He mainly likes to walk and gait, and has a smooth slow or fast gate. Grady is suitable for someone who knows how to ride. I wouldn't recommend him for a beginner but if you know how to ride and want one with a little go and easy riding, I think you would get along with him fine. He is a good trail horse, and is smart a whip and a fast learner. I recently started teaching him to side pass and open and shut gates and he is taking right to it. I haven't used him on cattle but I know he has been around them and he likes to watch them over the fence. I think he would make a good ranch using horse and probably be good for herding and sorting cattle. I've mainly just trail rode him but he seems to take right to everything and is fun to ride.
