After moving to Lawndale, I noticed that there was a beautiful horse, Grazin in the pasture behind where I rent my home, noticing that no one messed with her. I asked the owners if they wouldn’t mind if I spent time with her, more like a therapy horse. In the beginning, she was very nippy, and very unpredictable, I was scared to go into the pasture or anywhere near her. I wanted to give her a chance so I asked the owners if I could purchase her, they did let me, but I had to take her out where she was, she was never with any other horses, so I had her put in a facility, where she was bullied, then I had her take out and put into another facility where she befriended some horses and did very well, but had to pull her from that facility as well .... (read more) Being tossed around for months she’s back where she was as I asked the owners if they would let me board her there since she knew the place and she felt safe through her journey. She did learn how to lead on her lead rope. she needs to be sedated for a Ferrier , she does not like to be groomed, but I been working with her a little bit at a time with that, she definitely loves to be hosed down, she’s not shy of water whatsoever. She’s a beautiful horse, and she does have a wonderful soul, through the months of having her And showing her love and attention, she learned to trust me and stop biting and being pushy… When I purchased her from the people, they said that their little girl did ride her as she was a gift, but the little girl fell off her and never got back on her. All I know, is that this horse was born in Alabama, then transferred over to Ohio auction as per the paperwork says. So she has never been trained properly, I have never rode her, I didn’t feel safe enough to do so, I didn’t have the funds to get the proper trainer to train her. So right now she just trust me to be with her in the pasture, She loves to hang out with me while I listen to my music, I do run around with her as she does like to play. Scout still wants her way at times, but she also knows I mean business I need to do something. This is a mare that needs attention and someone to put the time in to make her the best she can be. She Deserves the best that life has to offer her. She’s been through a lot.. Now all she needs is that chance to shine. Any questions please ask.
