“Maverick” is a cute 2 year old gelding with lots of potential. He is halter broke, stands tied, trailers, and learning to lunge and can be saddled. Picks up all four feet but has not been trimmed, he has had natural wear the last 2 years of his life. He has just lived up in the mountain. He does not buck, bite or kick. He was unhandled when we got him, and has come a long way- slightly weary to catch but can be caught. Doesn’t take long.... (read more) Maverick is a sweetheart that needs more time and confidence than what the owner can give. He can be reactive but tries really hard and you can tell he wants to be good. Not a mean bone in his body. Has the potential to be an amazing horse if someone puts the time into him! He has lots of room to grow taller and fill out. He stands about 13.3-14HH. I have not measured him to be exact. Grade, they say both his parents were big and stout horses. Selling for a client. $3000 obo! Motivated to sell.
